British tennis player Katie Boulter and Australian player Alex de Minaur celebrated their marriage with an intimate ceremony in England followed by a three-day event in Tuscany, Italy.
The couple, who met five years earlier at an airport in Adelaide, held their first ceremony in the Leicestershire village of Woodhouse. Boulter walked down the aisle with her mother before her grandfather, who has dementia, delivered her to de Minaur in front of eight guests.
They then traveled to the 800-year-old Borgo Santo Pietro estate in Tuscany for a larger celebration. Boulter wore a custom lace gown by Caroline Castigliano that incorporated fabric from her late grandmother's wedding dress, while de Minaur chose a Ralph Lauren tuxedo.
Guests enjoyed family-style Italian meals, a pasta cook-off, and fireworks set to Coldplay. The event concluded with a pool party the following day.
Boulter said the ceremonies focused on joining their families. De Minaur described the experience as feeling like their own movie.
