An infant was found lifeless in a Borlänge apartment on Tuesday. Two people were arrested on suspicion of a crime but later released. The case is now being investigated as causing another's death, prosecutor Karolina Lassbo said.

Police in Tokyo have arrested a 22-year-old woman working at an adult entertainment establishment on suspicion of mutilating and abandoning her newborn daughter's body in the freezer of the workplace waiting room. The incident came to light on December 6 when an employee discovered the remains. The woman told police the baby was not moving or crying after birth, and she fainted.
