David Finlay signs multi-year AEW deal after declining WWE NXT offer, debuts with The Dogs

David Finlay, former NJPW Bullet Club leader, has signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling after turning down a WWE NXT contract offer. He debuted on the March 4, 2026 episode of Dynamite, joining ex-stablemates Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors—rebranded as The Dogs—in attacking Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy. AEW President Tony Khan confirmed all three signings on social media.
DDT Pro-Wrestling has announced a match between NJPW World Television Champion Konosuke Takeshita and former KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champion Kaisei Takechi for its Wrestle Peter Pan 2026 event. The bout is set for August 11 at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo. The matchup was revealed during DDT's event on March 22.
