Rehab Start
Yankees manager Aaron Boone indicated that Gerrit Cole may be activated during the team's current homestand at Yankee Stadium. Cole recently hit 99.6 mph in a Triple-A rehab start. The decision will be made after discussions over the next day or two.

The 35-year-old lefty pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowing three earned runs on four hits while striking out six in a positive step toward return.
