President-elect Abelardo de la Espriella will hold his inauguration at Arena Universidad Santiago de Cali. The move addresses security and logistical concerns in Popayán.
Arena USC has capacity for more than 2,200 people, 800 covered parking spaces and modern lighting, sound and air conditioning systems. The venue was chosen after a security council led by the Valle Governor's office and Cali City Hall.
