Blasphemous 2 gets surprise free expansion The Third Sin

Blasphemous 2: The Third Sin, a new free expansion, launched on June 6 for multiple platforms. It adds a large new castle area along with fresh content including a boss, weapon, and music tracks. The update is available now except on PS4.

The expansion introduces a foreboding castle that once sheltered nobles before The Miracle caused devastation. This new map equals a quarter the size of the combined Blasphemous 2 and Mea Culpa worlds. Players gain access to one new boss, new enemies, the Blade Tipped Whip weapon, additional prayers, unlockable outfits, a boss gallery, three familiars, six music tracks, and five achievements or trophies. The content released on Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. A PS4 version will arrive at a later unspecified date. The expansion was revealed on the same day it became available for download.
