Bully Ray proposes WWE-TNA tag title crossover match

WWE legend Bully Ray has suggested that The Hardy Boyz win the TNA tag team titles at Slammiversary before defeating The Street Profits for the WWE World Tag Team titles on WWE television.

Bully Ray made the proposal during an appearance on Busted Open. He recommended that The Hardys first win the TNA tag team championships in a ladder match at Slammiversary against The System and The Righteous.

Ray then said The Hardys should answer a challenge from The Street Profits, who won the WWE World Tag Team titles on the most recent episode of Raw. He argued that The Hardys defeating the WWE champions would provide positive attention for TNA.

The former wrestler noted that the current WWE-TNA partnership focuses mainly on NXT but described The Hardys as WWE-affiliated talent who could help both promotions. He also stated that the WWE tag team division could benefit from the added exposure.

The Hardys are scheduled to compete for the TNA titles at Slammiversary, where a victory would mark their fifth time holding the championships.
