Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ mode details revealed

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's DMZ extraction shooter mode has been revealed in full. The mode launches on the Korean map of Hajin after the campaign and includes its own story missions.

The proper launch of DMZ follows its earlier beta. It features a player bounty system, changing weather, and computer-controlled enemies that coordinate and react to player actions. Players can choose narrative-driven story missions, objective-focused operations, or free roam. A forward operating base can be upgraded with services like a crafting station, gunsmith, firing range, and boss board. A bounty board lets players track operators who gain bounties through objectives or kills. The mode includes its own progression system where upgrading operators unlocks traits for better performance in DMZ.
