Actor Daisy Edgar-Jones made her third appearance at the Met Gala 2026 on Monday, wearing a custom-made sculpted dress from McQueen. The ivory silk georgette gown, designed by Seán McGirr, features floral heritage lace and shredded tulle Banshee embroidery. She complemented the look with Boucheron jewelry and a natural 'London cool-girl-next-door' beauty style.
Daisy Edgar-Jones, star of Twisters, attended the 2026 Met Gala in a custom McQueen fall/winter 2026 dress that embodies tension between structure and fragility. Made of ivory silk georgette and adorned with three-dimensional Lyon lace appliqué, the gown aligns with the event's theme of costume, art, and fashion. “They’re so iconic,” Edgar-Jones said of McQueen. “This design explores [the idea that] structure and fragility can coexist.” She accessorized with Boucheron's Laurel earrings, Silhouette bracelet, and Silhouette brooch. Her longtime glam team, including Jo Baker and Bryce Scarlett, crafted a classic, undone look using Estée Lauder products, where Edgar-Jones serves as a spokesperson. Baker applied the yet-to-be-released Essential Eyeshadow Stick in Sugar Plum for moody eyes and Bronze Goddess bronzer for a natural flush. “We wanted to keep an air of London cool-girl-next-door who threw on a dress and didn’t really think about her makeup,” Baker said. Scarlett styled her hair down for a casual texture, while nail artist Naomi Yasuda created a bespoke “Cloud Ombré” in milky white gel polish to match the gown's ethereal energy. Edgar-Jones prepared by staying hydrated and using Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum paired with Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation for lasting, natural coverage. “You just want to know that it's going to last the whole night,” she noted. Looking ahead to the evening, she expressed excitement about seeing co-chair Beyoncé's outfit, reuniting with friend Gracie Abrams, and enjoying afterparties. “I'm just chasing the vibes—that's my major plan,” Edgar-Jones said.
