Hussein Eissa, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, affirmed the government’s ongoing efforts to support economic and industrial development across Egypt’s governorates during a meeting in Gharbeya.
Eissa made his remarks during a meeting with Gharbeya Governor Alaa Abdel Moaty at the governorate headquarters. The meeting reviewed priority economic files, including support for industrial and investment activity in Gharbeya as well as efforts to increase production and create jobs.
Eissa stressed the need to fully utilise Gharbeya’s economic potential by attracting new investments. He noted that the development project at Misr Spinning and Weaving Company in El Mahalla El Kubra accounts for around 40 per cent of total investments in the national textile modernisation programme.
Governor Abdel Moaty said the visit reflects the state’s commitment to advancing the industrial sector. He added that Gharbeya continues to attract investments and improve the business environment in coordination with relevant authorities.
