Virgoun's mother, Eva Manurung, expressed concerns over her three grandchildren's condition amid the alleged affair between Inara Rusli and Insanul Fahmi. The children have been taken out of town by Virgoun to shield them from the news impact. Eva also defended her son's access to CCTV footage from the house, used as police evidence.
The alleged affair and adultery case between Inara Rusli and Insanul Fahmi was reported by Wardatina Mawa, Insanul's legal wife, to Polda Metro Jaya on November 22, 2025. The report included a two-hour CCTV recording showing them in an adult scene in one of Inara's house rooms, which belongs to Virgoun and was given to the children after their divorce.
Eva Manurung, Virgoun's mother, initially thought the news was a hoax but was shocked upon learning the facts. She is deeply concerned about her grandchildren's mental state. "Mental cucu saya aja sih yang saya pikirin, saya takutnya di situ. Kemudian ada banyak pertanyaan-pertanyaan dari keluarga di luar kota yang bertanya. 'Gimana anak-anak?' itu juga buat saya jadi sedih," Eva said when met in Cibubur, Depok, West Java, on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
To protect the children, Virgoun took them out of town. "Virgoun lagi bawa anaknya ke luar kota," Eva stated. "Itu jalan pejuang yang terbaik dan paling bagus."
Regarding accusations that Virgoun spread the CCTV footage, Eva defended her son. She said Virgoun has the right to access the CCTV to monitor his children, as the house is his. "Itu kan rumahnya, rumah Virgoun, rumah anak-anak. Dikasih ke anak-anak. Virgoun bisa mantau anak-anaknya lagi ngapain di rumah. Berhak," she emphasized. Eva added, "Mungkin saja dia sakit hati, rumahnya dibuat gituan."
Eva advised against such acts in the house with children present. "Intinya kalo mau berbuat jangan di rumah udah titik, ada anak2, pergi ke luar. Ada hotel, apartemen gitu lho," she said. She does not know for sure if Virgoun provided the recording and leaves it to investigators.
From Insanul's side, in Richard Lee's podcast, he described his marital conflicts with Wardatina lasting six years due to early marriage and lack of understanding, leading to his siri marriage with Inara. However, he acknowledged his fault as the family head.
