Nikola Tsolov extended his Formula 2 championship lead at Spa-Francorchamps with a third-place finish in the feature race. Rafael Camara took victory while title rivals Gabriele Mini and Alex Dunne also scored points.
Eight rounds into the 14-event 2026 Formula 2 season, Red Bull Junior Team driver Nikola Tsolov leads the standings on 161 points. Alpine Academy racer Gabriele Mini sits second on 134 points, followed by Ferrari Driver Academy's Rafael Camara on 125 and Alpine's Alex Dunne on 108.
Camara won the feature race for Invicta Racing after recovering from a poor start. Tsolov finished third for Campos Racing despite damage from an early incident. Mini recovered to fifth after a lap-one collision and penalty.
Tsolov said the red flag helped fix a brake issue but noted setup problems limited his pace. Camara and Tsolov both praised each other's consistency in the post-race press conference.
In the sprint race, Joshua Duerksen won while Dino Beganovic returned to the podium. Noel Leon was later disqualified from fourth after a team guest used a microphone headset in breach of regulations, resulting in a €20,000 fine for Campos Racing.
