The Atlanta Falcons have acquired offensive tackle Wanya Morris from the Kansas City Chiefs. The teams completed the deal on Thursday. Atlanta sent a 2027 sixth-round pick to Kansas City in return for Morris and a 2027 seventh-round pick.
Morris, a 25-year-old third-round pick from Oklahoma in 2023, played 43 games for the Chiefs. He started 16 of those contests, with a career-high 11 starts during the 2024 season.
In 2025 he appeared in one game before suffering a season-ending left knee injury. Across 28 pass-blocking snaps that year he allowed three quarterback pressures and no sacks.
The Falcons also signed former Chiefs right tackle Jawaan Taylor to a one-year contract worth $5 million this offseason. The right tackle position protects the blind side for Atlanta's left-handed quarterbacks.
