STF minister Flávio Dino denied influencer Deolane Bezerra's release request while she remains in preventive detention over suspected money laundering tied to the PCC.
In a decision published Sunday, May 24, 2026, and signed the previous day, Dino reviewed the defense's complaint against the first-instance arrest order issued in Presidente Venceslau, São Paulo. He found no manifest illegality and noted that the STF is not the proper venue to review the measure.
Deolane was arrested Thursday, May 21, during the Federal Police's Operação Vérnix. Investigators allege she participated in a PCC-linked money-laundering scheme using a front transport company, with fractional deposits and millions of reais moved between 2018 and 2024.
The defense argued that the arrest ignored the fact she has a nine-year-old daughter and requested house arrest or precautionary measures. Dino rejected the request and upheld the preventive detention. The influencer denies the charges and states she was arrested for practicing her profession as a lawyer.
