Rick Mitarotonda told Consequence that he thinks Geese are great. He recalled first noticing them a few years ago when they appeared on a late night show from Brooklyn.

Mitarotonda added that he would love to meet Geese frontman Cameron Winter. He described Winter as an intelligent and creative guy with a unique voice.

Goose released their sixth studio album Big Modern! on June 12. Geese earned NME's album of the year for 2025 with Getting Killed and were named headliners for End of the Road 2026.
