Greubel Forsey has introduced the Balancier QM, a new timepiece that applies an elevated standard of hand-finishing to all 298 components of its movement.
The watch features an 18K white gold case measuring 39.6mm in diameter and 12.25mm thick. It offers 30 meters of water resistance and comes with a blue hand-sewn rubber strap.
The in-house GF09CM manual-winding caliber provides a 72-hour power reserve and operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour. It includes two coaxial series-coupled barrels and a five-arm motor wheel.
Finishing techniques such as black polishing, anglage, and circular graining are applied throughout, including to non-visible parts. Production is limited to 33 pieces, with pricing available on request at CHF 265,000 before taxes.
