The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration warned that the southwest monsoon will bring rains to several provinces on Thursday.
According to PAGASA, the provinces of Palawan and Occidental Mindoro will experience scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the habagat. This could result in flash floods or landslides in affected areas.
The habagat will also cause isolated rain showers or thunderstorms across Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Tawi-Tawi, and Antique. The rest of the country will experience isolated rains due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Tropical Depression Henry exited the Philippine area of responsibility at 8 p.m. on Wednesday. It left just 18 hours after it developed.
