Hollow Knight: Silksong has claimed Game of the Year at the 2025 Steam Awards following 43.8 million player votes. The Team Cherry sequel also won Best Game You Suck At, topping contenders like Arc Raiders, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, and Dispatch. Valve announced the results on January 4, 2026.

High-profile non-winners included Split Fiction, Battlefield 6, Where Winds Meet, Elden Ring: Nightreign, and Blue Prince (Eurogamer's 2025 GOTY).
