Indonesia's badminton team is sending 17 players to the BWF World Tour Super 500 Thailand Open 2026, held from 12 to 17 May at Nimibutr Stadium in Bangkok. The main focus is the reunion of men's doubles pair Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Marthin after they were separated in 2024.
The pair nicknamed The Babies will face Taiwan's Lai Po Yu and Tsai Fu Cheng in the first round. Daniel Marthin returns after recovering from an injury he suffered following the 2025 Sudirman Cup.
In men's singles, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting faces top seed Shi Yu Qi of China, the world number one. Meanwhile, Bagas Maulana paired with Muhammad Putra Erwiansyah will challenge India's top seeds Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty.
Indonesia fields four men's singles players, two women's singles, three men's doubles pairs, two women's doubles, and six mixed doubles. Young players including Muhamad Yusuf, Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan, and Ni Kadeh Dhinda Amartya Pratiwi start from the qualifying rounds.
