Jakarta transport agency prepares measures for Transjabodetabek tariff adjustment

Head of Jakarta's transport agency Budi Awaludin said his office has prepared steps to address planned tariff adjustments for Transjabodetabek services.

Budi said comprehensive socialization will be carried out with stakeholders to explain the urgency of the tariff adjustment. The maximum integrated fare scheme of Rp10,000 within three hours via the JakLingko app will also be expanded to cover all Transjabodetabek routes. The agency will improve services by ensuring accurate departure schedules and enhancing first and last mile access at transit points. Safe physical integration at halts or stations and provision of feeder routes are also priorities. The 2026 Transjabodetabek subsidy totals Rp401.087.058.387 with an average of Rp12.258 per customer. Budi noted no major obstacles in service development although further coordination is still needed for infrastructure and operations.
