Jannik Sinner reacted with surprise to a loud aircraft overhead while at the Italian Open in Rome on Tuesday. The moment, captured on camera, quickly spread online as the player clutched his chest before laughing it off.
Sinner was walking indoors at the Foro Italico when the noise startled him during the tournament. He later explained the incident in a post-match interview, saying he did not expect the sound and initially thought the jets were flying too low. The planes belonged to Italy’s Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team, which was practicing for a scheduled display the following day.
