Kalmar HC has named Antti Leskinen its new goaltending coach for the coming Hockeyallsvenskan season. The former Kalmar player replaces Joni Puurula and joins from Jokerit U20 in Finland.
Leskinen played for Kalmar during the 2017/2018 season in Division 2 and helped the club earn promotion to Hockeyettan. He has worked as a goaltending coach since 2020.
"I am super excited to be back in the KHC family in my new role as goaltending coach," Leskinen said. "This is a fantastic new challenge for me."
General manager Daniel Stolt highlighted Leskinen's modern approach and prior connection to the club. Kalmar's goaltending tandem features Brett Brochu and Carl Malmqvist.
