A leaked image has revealed details of an upcoming LEGO set recreating the classic Donkey Kong arcade machine. The set is expected to go on sale in August for $200.
The build features a movable joystick and functional buttons along with a brick-rendered screen that includes ladders, barrels, and hammer power-ups. It contains 1,367 pieces, making it smaller and less mechanically complex than the 2023 Pac-Man LEGO cabinet.
The release would coincide with the 45th anniversary of the original Donkey Kong arcade game from 1981. That title introduced the gorilla character throwing barrels at a figure then known as Jumpman.
LEGO and Nintendo have collaborated on multiple sets in recent years, including Super Mario builds and a Game Boy replica. The Donkey Kong set has not yet received an official announcement from either company.
