She transformed from a stereotypical filmy mother to a junior artist dancing alongside Bobby Deol to “Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela” from the 1997 film Gupt: The Hidden Truth. Coming off the dark world of Kohrra season 2, the shoot felt tricky. Shah Rukh Khan, present on set for an ad shoot, cheered her with “Come on, Mona!” She told Aryan, “I can’t dance like this in front of your dad!” It evoked memories of winning the first season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The sequence was challenging as Bobby Deol was absent; steps were matched later via VFX. Shah Rukh has promised to work with her. She contrasted working with Bobby, described as chill and pampered, and Sunny Deol, more serious but fun-loving with food—sharing chhole-bhature on Border 2 sets via his personal cook. As an army daughter whose father fought in the 1971 Indo-Pak War—mirroring a key scene where four colleagues lost feet to a mine—Border 2 felt personal. Aryan, a fan of her debut show Jassi Jaissi Koii Nahin, was enthusiastic, humble, and collaborative on set, encouraging experiments. Post-release, she called him “Aryan, you’re my star!” He replied, “Ma’am, sitaare toh bahut hain, aasman ek hi hai.”
