More checkpoints added to the hunt around Falun

The number of checkpoints in the hunt has increased further. On Wednesday seven new ones were placed in and around Falun.

More than 200 checkpoints already existed in the area. Seven additional ones were added on Wednesday morning at Stångtjärn.

Around 3 000 people are taking part in the hunt within Falu municipality.

The checkpoints are popular among those searching for them in the municipality.

A large forest fire broke out just north of Lustebo between Grycksbo and Bjursås in Falu municipality on Tuesday. Rescue services suspect a forestry machine sparked it on stones in a storm-damaged area. Two helicopters and ground crews brought the fire under control late in the evening.
