Netflix has expanded the cast of its upcoming live-action Scooby-Doo series with 15 new actors. The additions join previously announced leads for the modern reimagining titled Scooby-Doo: Origins.
The streaming service revealed the new names on June 10. They include Rusty Schwimmer, Peter Macon, Maxwell Simkins, Jona Xiao, Dani Deetté, Elysée Sanvillé, Alex Isles, Avery Kristen Pohl, Pamela Mitchell, Ross Kimball, Sara Gilbert, Wynn Everett, Sauriyan Sapkota, Bruce McGill and Sherilyn Fenn. All will appear in undisclosed roles. The series centers on Shaggy and Daphne during their final summer at camp. They become involved in a mystery with a lost Great Dane puppy that may have witnessed a supernatural murder. Velma and Fred join them to solve the case. Previously announced stars are McKenna Grace as Daphne Blake, Tanner Hagen as Shaggy Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley and Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones.
