Federal authorities have charged two additional men in connection with an alleged plot to attack the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House. The Justice Department announced the arrests on Monday, expanding the investigation that began with the detention of 19-year-old Tycen Proper last week.
William Lee Spartacus Falkner and Jordan Rincker, 28, face conspiracy to commit murder charges. Investigators say the plan involved using explosive-carrying drones to create panic, followed by sniper fire targeting political figures on the White House grounds on June 14.
Falkner was arrested Friday in Washington and appeared in court Monday in Tacoma. Rincker was arrested Sunday and appeared in court Monday in Kansas City. Authorities say Falkner had experience piloting drones and discussed loading them with explosives.
The probe started after Proper’s mother contacted police in Knox County about her son’s weapons and plans to “fight the corrupt government.” Officers responded on June 10, leading to Proper’s hospitalization and federal involvement. Search of his phone revealed Signal group chats with maps of sniper and drone positions.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said law enforcement moved to disrupt the plot. FBI Director Kash Patel credited partners for preventing the threat. Rincker allegedly received $1,200 from alleged ringleader Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez and traded a shotgun for equipment.
