Nickelback have announced their eleventh studio album, Everything Under the Sun, along with the release of new single Rattle the Cage. The Canadian rock band will issue the record on October 30 through Virgin Music Group.
The album follows 2022's Get Rollin' and marks the group's first release with Virgin Music Group. Frontman Chad Kroeger said the project captures every side of the band.
"There are songs that hit as hard as anything we've ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we've been doing this together for so long," Kroeger explained. He added that Rattle the Cage serves as the ideal lead track.
The single features guitarist John 5 and includes heavy riffs with lyrics such as "Screaming 'til we know that they can hear us down in hell." Virgin Music Group President Jacqueline Saturn called the partnership an honour.
The announcement follows the band's documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback and their record-breaking Get Rollin' World Tour.
