Niclas Andersén is reported to be in discussions to become the new head coach of Hockeyettan club Strömsbro. The former Brynäs defenseman, who won an SM gold in 2012, has drawn interest from the club ahead of next season.
Strömsbro is rebuilding its roster and is now also considering a coaching change. Andersén spent his early SHL career with Brynäs from 2007 to 2012 before playing in the KHL, AHL and Switzerland. Sportchef Johan Wennberg confirmed the club's interest in the experienced defenseman. The club aims to finalize a coaching appointment soon, according to Wennberg.
