Nike has introduced an updated version of its P-6000 dad shoe featuring quicklaces and an adjustable toggle. The change gives the sneaker a more trail-ready, outdoorsy appearance. It is available now on Nike Japan's website.
The sportswear giant swapped the P-6000's traditional shoelaces for quicklaces, enhancing its rugged, technical design. This simple update shifts the chunky dad shoe toward gorpcore aesthetics, suitable for trails as well as streets. The sneaker incorporates familiar outdoor materials like Cordura and maintains its mesh and suede upper with cushioned soles. Stylish colorways, including the classic Sail, have appeared on models like Off-White's Jordan 4s and Pegasus Premium running shoes before this release. Sail and Burgundy Crush options are currently offered on Nike Japan's site for approximately $90. Nike officials have not commented further on plans to officially position the P-6000 as an outdoor sneaker.
