Örebro SK lost 2–1 to Helsingborgs IF at Behrn arena. An early sending-off and a disputed incident shaped the match.
ÖSK started the match with several goal chances but suffered a setback in the 18th minute. John Stenberg was sent off for handball in the penalty area which led to a penalty and a goal for the visitors.
Stenberg took responsibility afterwards. "I am damn disappointed that it turned out the way it did. I take full blame", he said.
At the end of the first half ÖSK wanted a red card after a duel between Jakub Ojrzyński and Adam Akimey. Referee Farouk Nehdi however chose yellow. "I assess that he took a shot in a normal way", Nehdi explained. Ojrzyński described the situation as an attack: "He came in with full force and I was really hit."
ÖSK have scored seven goals in nine matches which was highlighted as a recurring problem.
