Pierre Gasly expects difficult conditions at the Canadian Grand Prix if rain falls on Sunday. The Alpine driver and others have raised concerns about Pirelli's new 2026 wet tyres.
Pierre Gasly warned that rain could turn the Canadian Grand Prix into an elimination-style race. He tested the new Pirelli wet tyres at Magny-Cours and found them hard to warm up in low temperatures. Gasly said the stop-start nature of the Montreal track adds to the challenge. He expects an eventful race if conditions turn wet and temperatures drop to around 11C.
