The Pran Pratistha Dwadashi, or consecration anniversary, of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be held on Wednesday with a special ritual bathing of the Ram Lalla idol. The Pran Pratistha Dwadashi, marking the consecration anniversary of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, will take place on Wednesday, featuring a special ritual bathing of the Ram Lalla idol, according to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are set to attend the event. As the main yajman, or host, Singh will hoist a flag at the Annapurna temple, also known as Sita Ki Rasoi, one of the seven shrines in the main temple complex.

The two senior BJP leaders will address a gathering at Angad Teela and offer prayers at the Hanuman Garhi temple. They are scheduled to arrive at the Ram Mandir around 11:30 am and will remain in Ayodhya for nearly four hours, a senior official told the Indian Express. There will be a brief 15-minute restriction on movement at the Ram and Hanuman Garhi temples, but devotees arriving for darshan will not be stopped otherwise.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat performed the consecration rituals of the Ram Lalla idol on January 22, 2024. They had hoisted the saffron flag atop the Ram temple on November 25, 2025. According to the Hindu calendar, the first consecration anniversary was celebrated on January 11, 2024, while the second falls on December 31. The Trust began the second anniversary celebrations on December 27 with various religious events, including yagnas, recitations of Ramcharitmanas, staging of Ramleela, processions, and singing of bhajans.
