In the Women's Premier League 2026 final, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) chased down a 204-run target against Delhi Capitals in 19.4 overs to secure victory. This marked the fourth edition of the league, with RCB claiming their second title and joining Mumbai Indians as the most successful franchise.
Delhi Capitals batted first and posted 203 for four in 20 overs, led by captain Jemimah Rodrigues' 57 off 37 balls, Laura Wolvaardt's unbeaten 44 off 25, Lizelle Lee's 37 off 30, and Chinelle Henry's quick 35 off 15. It was Delhi's fourth consecutive loss in WPL finals.
RCB's captain Smriti Mandhana smashed 87 off 41 balls, partnering with Georgia Voll's 79 off 54 for a record 165-run second-wicket stand that sealed the chase with two balls to spare. Mandhana topped the run charts with 377 runs to win the Orange Cap, while Gujarat Giants' Sophie Devine took 17 wickets for the Purple Cap.
The triumph made RCB the first team to hold both IPL and WPL titles simultaneously. IPL star Virat Kohli shared a special message on Instagram congratulating women's captain Smriti Mandhana and the team.
