Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Germie Bernard is making the most of his time with quarterback Aaron Rodgers during the team's offseason program. Bernard, who is preparing for his first NFL season, said he is eager to learn from the veteran. Rodgers signed with the Steelers earlier this month.
Bernard spoke after a recent OTA practice. “He wants the best for me, and he’s challenging me,” he said. “He’s asking me a lot of questions so he can build that trust and whenever I have questions, I’m an open book. I just wanna learn as much as I can from him, this being his last season. So, I’m just trying to be a sponge right now.”
