Seth Rollins has responded to Roman Reigns calling him his 'number two' in the lead-up to their scheduled WWE SummerSlam match this Sunday in Minneapolis.
Speaking on ESPN’s First Take, Rollins questioned whether Reigns truly believes the claim. He said part of Reigns needs to think that way but added that he has had Reigns’ number throughout their history together.
Rollins referenced their time in The Shield, saying he held Reigns’ hand and helped him advance. He stated that he has owned Reigns in every major match since then.
The World Heavyweight Championship match between Rollins and Reigns is set to main event night two of SummerSlam. The Undisputed WWE Championship match between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes will headline night one.
