Snow Tha Product received a Certificate of Recognition from the City of Los Angeles on June 6 for her efforts to support Latino communities through her music and advocacy.
The Mexican-American rapper was presented with the honor during her Fiesta en Sábado event at Pershing Square. The certificate, signed by all 15 city council members, praised her for creating space for truth, representation, and belonging.
The recognition came one year after ICE raids that affected many immigrant families in the city. Snow Tha Product said she felt “seen as a real person who matters in this fight” and added that it was “nice to see that L.A. cares.”
She described herself as “honestly speechless” and explained that she had simply aimed to do something nice for the kids and contribute “un granito de arena” to the community. The event drew thousands of attendees focused on culture, connection, and giving back.
