Södertälje SK has signed forward Gustav Salmi-Lilja to a two-year contract. The 23-year-old joins from Mora IK ahead of the upcoming season.
Södertälje SK announced the move on July 14. Sportchef Emil Georgsson said the club had targeted the player for his physical style.
"We are glad to present Gustav in our team build. We have been looking for a player type that can play physically and be tough in his game and have had our sights set on Gustav," Georgsson said.
Salmi-Lilja recorded 10 points in 45 games for Mora IK last season in HockeyAllsvenskan. He has accumulated 36 points in 169 league games overall.
Mora IK confirmed it had mutually agreed to terminate his contract early. The player is expected to add energy and depth to the SSK forward group.
