Taylor Swift's "I Knew It, I Knew You" has reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100. The track from the upcoming Toy Story 5 marks her 15th chart-topping single overall.
The song, co-written and co-produced with Jack Antonoff, is the first of Swift's No. 1 hits to originate from a movie soundtrack. It also represents her first single in more than a decade to receive significant country radio airplay.
The track follows earlier soundtrack contributions by Swift, including "Today Was a Fairytale" from 2010 and "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" from 2016. None of those reached the summit of the Hot 100.
Billboard notes that the Disney franchise has generated substantial revenue over three decades, providing additional context for the song's commercial performance.
