Tom Holland has expressed interest in helping introduce the next actor to play Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor shared his thoughts in a recent interview with Empire magazine.
Holland said he would like to support whoever takes over the role next. “For whoever’s next, whether that is a Miles Morales or a Spider-Gwen or a Spider-Woman or something like that, I would love to be a part of setting up the next chapter,” he said. “If I could do what Downey did for me, then I would be so content swinging off into the sunset.” He referenced Robert Downey Jr., who introduced Holland’s character in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War.
