Tudor introduces Black Bay 54 with sapphire-blue dial

Tudor has released a new sapphire-blue version of its Black Bay 54 dive watch. The 37mm model features a matching blue bezel and draws from the brand's dive-watch heritage. It joins the lineup three years after the original's debut.

The Black Bay 54, Tudor's smallest dive watch at 37mm, now comes in sapphire blue. The stainless steel case measures 46mm lug-to-lug and 11.2mm thick, with 200m water resistance. A sunray blue dial pairs with a blue aluminum bezel insert, accented by silver markers, white Super-LumiNova indexes, and Snowflake hands with lume filling. Tudor equips it with the Kenissi MT5400 automatic movement, featuring 28,800 vibrations per hour, 27 jewels, a 70-hour power reserve, and COSC chronometer certification for accuracy between -4 and +6 seconds per day. The watch takes inspiration from Tudor's first Submariner, reference 7922, and nods to its history with the French Marine Nationale. Customers can choose between an Oyster-style steel bracelet or black rubber strap, both with T-fit clasps. Prices start at €4,130 for the rubber version and €4,350 for the bracelet model, equivalent to US$4,475 and US$4,725 respectively.
