Skellefteå AIK defeated Rögle BK 4-1 in the first final game on home ice. Rögle missed forward Dennis Everberg, a key playoff performer sidelined by an upper-body injury, according to reports to Expressen. Defenseman Linus Sandin was also absent for personal reasons related to a family addition. Rögle coach Dan Tangnes remained cautious about Everberg after Friday's training session in Skellefteå. Everberg wore a green non-contact jersey and participated on the ice, as reported by HD. “He trained and then they will assess if he is fit to play. But it is always a good sign that he is on the ice training. We will see what they decide,” Tangnes told HD. Tangnes added that he has had no direct contact with Sandin, leaving family matters to forward Hampus and contact through him. On Skellefteå's side, all players trained Friday except Viktor Grahn, who has 18 points from 52 regular-season games and three from 11 playoff contests, per Norran. Grahn is away as his family awaits a new baby. Coach Daniel Hermansson expressed optimism. “I think the chances of him playing are good,” Hermansson told Norran. He also highlighted areas for improvement, such as powerplay execution and passing quality into the zone.
