Woods Specialty Roastery from Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, took the overall prize at the Global Coffee Awards MENA edition held on 15 June 2026.
The competition evaluated roasters from across the Middle East and North Africa through double-blind judging by certified Q Graders. Woods Specialty Roastery claimed victories in the Filter and Flat White Plant-Based Milk categories, while Brew 92 from Jeddah and Madinah earned top spots in Espresso and several subcategories.
A Gesha coffee produced by the Aguirre Family at El Injerto in Guatemala and roasted by Brew 92 scored highest overall in the Filter Single Origin Experimental category. Other category winners included Oasis Coffee Trading Company from Riyadh and CMI Roastery from Abu Dhabi.
The event, originally planned for Dubai, took place at Balzac Brothers. All gold, silver and bronze winners advance to the 2026 Global Coffee Awards World Championship.
