Druski just got the ultimate co-sign from comedy legend Chris Rock. The 31-year-old made history hosting the BET Awards on June 28 and walked away with more than just laughs.
Chris Rock texted Druski right after the show, calling the performance “incredible” and declaring him the “best host ever.” Rock even joked he was “officially retired” and tipped his hat with a simple “you the best.” Druski posted the message on his Instagram Stories the next day.
The comedian also dropped a fresh skit during the broadcast, playing a strict Joe Jackson in a prequel parody to the Michael Jackson biopic. Fans flooded the comments with praise, calling the bit genius and noting the high production value.
Druski additionally won the Pulse Award for moving Black culture forward. The whole night left everyone asking the same thing: is this the start of a new hosting dynasty?
