Dave Meltzer Comments on Vince McMahon's Potential WWE Return

Dave Meltzer discussed the possibility of Vince McMahon returning to WWE in some capacity as Janel Grant's civil case moves toward arbitration. The case, which accuses McMahon of sex trafficking and abuse, is set to end next week.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said McMahon is unlikely to resume his former roles as chairman or head of creative.

"It would not shock me that he's brought back in a position," Meltzer said. "They may do something. I mean, it wouldn't shock me. I don't know that I would expect it. I cannot imagine he would be put in charge of anything."

Meltzer added that a figurehead role for McMahon could draw a large reaction if he appeared as a surprise on television. McMahon has owned shares in WWE and TKO but has had no involvement since resigning in 2024.
