The documents describe voter information as publicly available or commercially obtained. One report notes an unidentified Chinese entity held a list including about 204.8 million records from 2016.
Donald Trump alleged in a recent speech that Beijing stole 220 million voter files. He accused US intelligence agencies of downplaying the meddling.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian called the claims unfounded smears. He urged Washington to stop such actions to benefit bilateral relations.
