Jacob Hensley, a 28-year-old father of four, was fatally shot five times near the Denver Skatepark on May 21. His wife, Allison Hensley, is questioning the circumstances and the self-defense claim made by the alleged shooter.
Jacob Hensley had returned home after drinking that Thursday night and spoke briefly with his wife before stepping outside their apartment. Less than an hour later, police found him critically wounded at the intersection of 20th and Little Raven Streets near the skate park. Paramedics took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
