The Department of Tourism launched its Discover More to Love campaign on Friday, offering more than 3,000 discounted travel deals to boost domestic tourism from July to November.
The Department of Tourism rolled out the campaign during the Central Philippines Tourism Expo 2026 in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It features discounted hotel stays, travel packages and promotional airfares from more than 70 partners, including Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, AirAsia Philippines and Sunlight Air.
Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay said the initiative responds to private sector calls for support during the lean season. She noted that the DOT will promote destinations and connect travelers with accredited enterprises but will not handle bookings or sales.
The campaign runs under the Love the Philippines brand and is not a replacement for it. Domestic tourism generated P3.26 trillion in visitor spending in 2025 and employed 7.7 million Filipinos, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority.
