Ethiopia grants licenses to three capital market service providers

The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority has granted licenses to three new capital market service providers.

Addis Ababa, July 10, 2026. The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority granted a license to Pricewaterhouse Investment Bank S.C. in the investment banking sector. Bluefin Capital Advisory S.C. and Lumina Capital S.C. each received licenses in the securities investment advisory sector.

The authority reminded the service providers to carry out their expected responsibilities with knowledge, honesty and commitment. It also approved the appointment of 10 shareholder representatives and 15 board members for the three new providers.

Following these approvals, the total number of capital market service providers licensed by the authority has reached 21.
