Ethiopian Ambassador Lemelem Fisaha presented her credentials to African Union Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf in Addis Ababa.
The two sides discussed continental, global and key issues for the Union. The AU Commission Chairperson said the ambassador's experience and leadership knowledge will further strengthen cooperation between Ethiopia and the African Union. He praised Ethiopia's continuous support for the African Union and noted that the country's election was conducted peacefully and in an orderly manner. Ambassador Lemelem Fisaha affirmed Ethiopia's strong commitment to supporting the African Union and continental agendas.
